David Browne
Using watercolours David Browne looks at urban spaces in Dublin city which have remained untouched by the economic progress of the recent past. Avoiding the picturesque, he focuses on the mundane; the unnoticed and decaying aspects of urban landscape.
He graduated from the National College of Art and Design in 1980. In 1982 he recieved a two year scholarship to study Editorial Illustration at the School of Visual Arts, N.Y.C. He has shown in group shows including the annual RHA Gallagher Gallery Annual show, 'Gateway to Art' at Dublin Airport and Eigse in Carlow.

His last solo exhibition was held at the Molesworth Gallery, Dublin in April, 2008
