Niall Wright
Niall Wright graduated from NCAD, Dublin in 1982. He has exhibited extensively in group shows throughout the country, including RHA annual shows and Aer Rianta Gateway To Art. He has had numerous solo shows at the Hallward gallery, Dublin, and the Millcove Gallery in Cork.

He works from the Irish landscape, an art practice usually perceived as documentary and observational in nature. However, it encompasses a personal view which has it’s antecedence in the 19th century English landscape tradition.
In a similar vein he has recorded a particular view of the Irish landscape, the disused and abandoned bog-lands of County Wicklow, slices of bare mountainside, abandoned roadways all combine to give moody atmospheric views.
Niall Wright's most recent solo exhibitions were at New Art Studio in June 2011 and at the Mill Cove Gallery, Casteltownbere, Cork in August 2011.
